Been here in the fall for snowboard gear for myself and the kiddo (board, bindings and boots) as well as in the spring for skateboarding safety gear for the kiddo. Staff is always friendly and takes the time to explain different choices and recommendations even when they can be super busy at times. If you want well fitted gear from folks who know their stuff you need to come here. I'm sure we'll be back for years to come to maintain/update our gear!

Best snowboard shop in the GTA, hell, it might be the best shop I’ve ever been to! Sanction is the first place I would recommend anyone go who is looking to buy anything for snowboarding or skateboarding. The owners and everyone else working there are awesome and super helpful, and the store carries all the best products in the market. 10/10 recommend stopping in to check out their gear

I had a fantastic experience at Sanction! I had an issue with my boots and they were able to heat mold them and get them exactly where I needed them. A very knowledgable staff and excellent customer service. They also had a number of brands that I was very interested in. Would 100% recommend.

Support small business! They have the highest quality, and largest selection of equipment. I got snowboard boots (Vans One & Done / Hana Beaman) and I'm super satisfied and hyped on them. They made sure I tried on a bunch of boots and sizes. All the dudes are so knowledgeable, attentive and patient. Happy I came by - and will be back again for more!

Massive selection of snowboard gear. I got a new pair of Ride boots today and had a great experience with the all the staff. Everyone that helped us was super helpful and friendly (shout out to Hayden - he went above and beyond to help us out). Removed 2 stars because the owner (Charlie) was rude and unprofessional. We asked him if there was anything he could do for us ($$) since we were hoping to get $400 boots and $500 bindings. He laughed at our face and said in a sarcastically rude tone “uhmmm I can give you $20 off. I have a family and kids you know. Plus my wife is hard to deal with” and then he brushed us off and walked away in a huff. Dont get me wrong, that’s fine that he couldn’t do better on the price … but the delivery was very rude and it almost felt like he kinda spat in our face and weren’t worth his time (even though we are paying my customers). Why did he need to bring his family into it??? It was so out of pocket. Really rubbed us the wrong way , a simple “no, sorry that’s the best we can do” would have sufficed. Overall would have been a great experience at Sanction but Charlie RUINED it. Who knows, maybe he had a bad day…but that’s the customer service we experienced which left a bad impression.

Great experience - I got bindings as a gift 8 months prior and just realized they didn’t fit so they did an exchange and the people in there were so nice and helpful - great staff
